Guardian Pool Fence Systems, Inc. is the only manufacturer of safety net pool covers to have the ORIGINAL, PATENTED, self-closing safety net pool gate covers specifically designed and engineered to operate with a removable mesh safety net pool fencing system.

This type of safety net pool covers fence operates on tension so the mesh fabric would be tighter in cold weather and then loses tension in warm weather. Engineers have informed us that conventional, single-pole designs in pool gates would require never-ending adjustments for the life of the safety net pool cover.
Taking out a single pole gate for a party and then having to put it back in the safety net pool gate adds to the chance of a safety net pool cover failure. Guardian Pool Fence Systems, Inc. has PATENTED a Pool Safety Gate System that does not depend on the tension of the fence around it!

  SAFETY NET POOL COVER HARDWARE:
Latch: We ONLY use the MAGNA LATCH. It can be locked with a key and works magnetically. Every gate we have shipped since we went into production in 1996 used MAGNA LATCH for its latching mechanism.

 
The safety pool net cover is the most important component of any safety pool fence system! We made sure our gate closed each and every time. The double-pole truss on both sides of the gate allows for tension changes due to the weather but you won't have to keep making adjustments. The fabric tension does not affect the operation of our gate. We designed this safety net pool cover without a top cross-bar rendering it impossible for toddlers to climb because there is nothing strong to grab hold of!

The latch we selected for our safety net pool covers are made in Australia. The manufacturer promotes their latch as "The World's Safest Pool Gate Latch." We couldn't agree more.

          
We have yet to see latching systems come anywhere close to the sophisticated operation in this latch. This key latch is magnetic and non-mechanical. It was awarded the Silver Medal in 1992 at the International Inventors Convention in Geneva, Switzerland, and also won the Australian Design Award.

This latch also meets the Barrier Code requirements of the NSPI and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. The tension adjustable hinges, made by the same company, also won the Australian Design Award. Without this hardware, we might never have built this gate.

When the Magna-Latch and the tension-adjustable hinges are used with our PATENTED safety net pool cover design, we don't think there's any other system on the pool safety market today that offers anything near the same level of Safety, Versatility, Practicality and Protection that this system provides.
