Our gates are made from both Stainless steel and aluminum tubing. The double pole trusses are welded together and are made from marine grade aluminum. The swing portion of our gate is made from stainless steel. Our gates are self latching, key lockable and REMOVABLE.

GATE HARDWARE:

Latch: The only latch we use is MAGNA LATCH. It operates magnetically and is key lockable. Every gate we have shipped since we went into manufacturing this gate in 1996 has used MAGNA LATCH for its latching mechanism. Guardian Pool Fence Systems is one of the largest users of Magna Latch in the world.

Hinges: The same company that produces the MAGNA LATCH produces the TRU-CLOSE hinges. These hinges are tension adjustable and are constructed with Stainless steel springs. These are the only hinges we have used on our gates since we went into production in 1996. With 50,000 gates installed around the world today, we can tell you, we could not be any happier with our choice of using TRU-CLOSE hinges on our gates.

POLES:

All poles are constructed with T6 marine grade aluminum. The stainless steel pin is 304 stainless steel and the reducer bushing that is inside our aluminum pole is PVC tubing.

POLE SPACING:

Most fencing to date has been constructed with 36″ pole spacing. If a customer requests 30″ pole spacing we would be happy to accommodate the request.

SCREWS & EYE BOLTS:

All Guardian screws and eye bolts are made from type 304 stainless steel. Each pole color Guardian Pool Fence Systems offers, comes with screws that are the EXACT color match to the poles. Most companies only offer plain stainless steel or black painted screws. We do NOT paint our screws because paint will peel off of stainless steel! We coat all of our screws in a Teflon type of finish that does not peel off.

SLEEVES:

Each stainless pin fits into a plastic sleeve made of High Density Polyethylene.

HOOKS & EYES:

All Guardian Pool Fence Systems hooks and eyes are made from 304 stainless steel. The black colored hooks & eyes are the same 304 stainless steel. These hooks and eyes are coated in a black Teflon type of finish. We coat the hooks and eyes strictly for aesthetic reasons. Using shiny stainless steel hooks on brown, black or green fencing takes away from the quality we put into our pool fencing systems. We are the only company in this business doing this. Our finished product is the best you can find anywhere in the world.

PAD LOCKS:

All of the padlocks used are solid brass with a solid brass shackle. The average pool fence usually needs between 10 and 15 padlocks.
