MARKETPLACE
The Public as well as the POOL and FENCE INDUSTRIES are aware of the need to protect infants and toddlers from the dangers associated with swimming pools in backyards. For years it has been the number one killer of children under five years old in California, Arizona, Texas and Florida.

Nationally, drowning ranks 2nd for children under fives years of age.

The AMERICAN ACADEMY of PEDIATRICS, U.S. CONSUMER PRODUCT SAFETY COMMISSION, AMERICAN FENCE ASSOCIATION and the NATIONAL SPA and POOL INSTITUTE all recommend four sided fencing around swimming pools.

Building codes are now being changed requiring fencing for new pools, and in some cases around the country, fencing is required when a home with a pool is sold.

Most of these regulations require a 5 foot high fence with a self closing gate. Our PATENTED self closing gate and fencing usually meets these requirements.

Fencing is also required for daycare centers, foster care homes and adoptions in most states. We usually meet those regulations too.

For someone who is ambitious and wants to make a difference in their community, this is a wonderful opportunity. The personal gratification you get knowing you are providing a worthwhile service that people need is hard to describe in print. You just feel good!

COMPETITION
We know there are companies competing with
us in the marketplace. Our innovation with our REMOVABLE, SELF CLOSING, SELF LATCHING KEY LOCKABLE GATE puts us at the forefront of this industry.

In the 35 years that removable fencing has been available, not one company ever did anything to develop a gate system that was functional for everyone! Without a gate, the customer has to dismantle parts of the fence in order to get into the pool area. While it is effective for keeping out children, it also could keep out parents and grandparents! This type of fencing operates on lateral tension. It requires physical strength that in some cases grandparents as well as petite mothers canât handle. We realized that if this type of product were to be successful, it had to be functional for ALL adults.

We spent many hours on this project and hired a Ph.D. in engineering to overcome the technical problems involved with having a gate that was removable and was not dependent on lateral tension. It took a huge effort as well as a lot of money, but we did it!

The U.S. Patent Office doesnât pass out patents easily. We had to show the uniqueness as well as the marketability of this system.

Our patent was granted on September 9, 1997. We have built, shipped and installed THOUSANDS of gates since we first started to market this gate in January 1996.
